Date: 1722 (辛丑秋仲, or Kangxi 61st Year. (康熙六十一年)). Each 7 ½ X 10 1/8 (19cm X 25.5cm. ). Most of Shen QuanÂ’s works in museums were painted in Yongzheng or Qianlong years. This set of six was rare. It was his early work when he was 40 years old. The blue rock style was following Zhao Mengfu. Nine years later (1731), Shen Quan visited Japan invited by the Japanese emperor.
