A Guangxu Period, massive, blue and white, Chinese, porcelain teapot of broad cylindrical form with a curving spout, angled shoulder, the straight neck supporting a concave overhanging lid. The lid, mouth, spout, and foot each with protective metal band, the hinged handle of shaped brass. The exterior with a number of decorative guardian lions on a ground of clouds, & flames. H: 10 1/4" (26 cm) D: 9" (23 cm) Condition: In excellent condition with no damage or restoration evident.
