A pair of famille rose vase, each of ovoid form with gently flaring rim, each finely painted with a lush setting of a peony tree with oversized-blooms, with two small cardinal birds perched on a blossoming branch, with a scroll of characters on the reverse, all between floral and ruyi bands decorating the neck, and a band of ground lappets skirting the foot, the base painted with six-characters in iron-red. H: 9 7/16" (24cm) Condition: one vase is in excellent condition ,the other one with two restored cracks at the rim/neck
