A Chinese, porcelain, famille rose bowl, the rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to a scalloped rim, finely enameled at the centre with a pink peony and green leaves, extending up to the sides to the gilt foliate rim enclosed by a mirroring band with a purple base and decorated with lotus, fish, and lucky symbols with ribbons, the exterior is intricately enameled with large, pink and blue flowering peony emerging from leafy branches above green rockwork, with a multi-colored Phoenix at one side above a purple band at the foot, the base painted with a four character mark in iron-red.
