A 20th C,Cinnabar, lacquer ware plate, the shallow rounded sides rising from a recessed base, the rim carved with a red lining, the interior deeply carved through the red layers to the black ground with figures of two flying dragons chasing a flaming pearl amidst cloud wisps, the base lacquered black. D: 14 1/2" (37cm) Condition: In good condition, with one crack of lacquer at the rim.
