Koran signed Muhammad Fâdel Ben Molla Mahmoud in 1139H. (1726)

Arabic manuscript of 451 leaves on beige paper, calligraphic in beautiful and regular black "naskh" on 15 lines per page opening with a very beautiful double illuminated frontispiece preceding the two following pages with texts encircled in gold and margins decorated with polychrome and gilded flowers.

Marginal markings in gold lettering and gold pastilles to separate the verses. The last two pages are illuminated and the colophon is signed Muhammad Fâdel Ben Molla Mahmud in 1139H. (1726). Brown morocco flap binding with geometric decoration. Wear and tear.
