Detailed Japanese Meiji Satsuma Bowl - Bucket. Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) very finely hand painted Satsuma Bowl in a shape of a Bucket with a round scene of aristocrat women and children on both sides and smaller decorative shields with floral decorations and landscapes. There are floral decorations on handles and upper part of the exterior. The flowers and butterflies are finelly painted over the center of the interior.
