Japanese Meiji Satsuma Tripod Lidded Teapot. Shipped with PS Priority Mail. Meiji period (1868-1912) Japanese miniature tripod lidded teapot satsuma with a bamboo handle. The teapot has an unual shape (flat bottom). The signature of the maker is in the center of the bottom. The teapot is decorated with four scrolls with vario aristocratic seated women and men. The teapot has symbolic decorations on the background and on top of the lid. Please see pictures. It is in excellent condition with absolutely no wear,losses,hairlines,damages over the handle or restorations. 2 ¾” wide x 2 ¾” tall (with handle up) x 1 ½” tall (with handle down).
