Japanese Edo 19C Satsuma Teapot- Bird. Shipped with PS Priority Mail. Edo period Japanese mid 19th century Satsuma teapot with bird shaped heads, attributed to Makuzu Kozan. There is a bird shaped head as the nose and one in the back of the handle. It has a very fine enamel and gold decorations over the body,handle and the top of the lid. It is difficult to describe please refer to the photos. Please see pictures. It is in excellent condition with no wear,losses,hairlines or damages. 6 ¾” tall x 6 ¾” wide 5 ⅜” deep
