A Jama-Coaque Standing Female Figure Ecuador, c. 200 - 500 AD This handsome, naturally proportioned female wears a skirt, bracelets, and a thick segmented necklace with pendant. Her face is set in an appealing expression and is ornamented with a nose piece, lower lip labret, and stacked earrings. Her headdress or coiffure is composed of carefully balanced layers of finger-like forms. Skillfully crafted of hollow earthenware with remains of light blue-green and brown pigments.
