A Large Nazca Polychrome Vessel Peru, c. 100 BC – 800 AD Hollow earthenware flattened globular bridge-spout vessel with bright polychrome paints, depicting two Anthropomorphic Mythical Beings with human legs, two trophy heads held on one hand under head, the other hand bears a sheathed weapon and a trophy head with long pointed hair; a long serpentine tail bears six trophy heads on sides. Inscribed on underside: "RP/7728/Ep.83. In excellent, intact condition, one spout reattached, a tiny chip on rim of other spout.
