Edward Hopkinson Jr. (1885 - 1966) was heavily involved in the modern urban planning of Philadelphia and its waterways, with 6 rare books and 3 magazines included, with the books as follows --- Knappen Tippetts Abbett Engineering Company "Delaware River Port Development Plan, prepared for the Delaware River Joint Commission of Pennsylvania and New Jersey 1948" (included are many fold-out maps and resources including the proposal for a "South Philadelphia - Gloucester Bridge", details of the riverfront and ports, etc.); "The Schuylkill River Desilting Project Final Report 1951" filled with charts, diagrams and photographs; "The Regional Plan of the Philadelphia Tri-State District 1932" featuring aerial photographs, fold-out maps resources and plans for all types of development in and around Philadelphia; "River Basin Administration and the Delaware" (Syracuse University Press, 1960); "Delaware River Basin Compact"; "Planning 1948" (American Society of Planning Officials, Chicago 1948); also includes 2 issues of "Greater Philadelphia - The Magazine for Executives" and 1 issue of "Finance" with Edward Hopkinson Jr. on the cover.
