A Chinese yellow-glazed archaistic vesselGuangxu six-character mark and probably of the period.Decorated with scrolling vines, geometric scrolls, and a honeycomb diaper across the body, flanked by two lion head handles, raised on three lobed foliate feet, with a rich yellow glaze, underside marked. H: 9 3/4 in.PROVENANCE:Acquired in China by the grandparents of the present owner in the 1950's. Thence by descent.
