A late 19th century Chinese Export carved ivory brisé fan, the outer sticks featuring well carved decoration of buildings within rural setting, the interior sticks finely pierced and featuring further detail of birds amongst branches, length 27.4cm. Additional Information Internal sticks with some relatively minor breakages to the fine pierced work, outer sticks with some buildup of dirt and perhaps some tiny losses, but overall in good condition considering the fragility of the material.
