KINKOZAN; a Japanese Meiji period Satsuma twin handled koro featuring two panels against gilt heightened navy ground, the first featuring three little birds perched amongst branches and wisteria, the second featuring three ducks, Kinkozan tsukuru, with pierced and gilt lid Dog of Fo finial, seal mark to underside, height to finial 18.5cm (lid af). Additional Information lid cracked with further large chip and loss to interior rim. Rubbing to gilding throughout including heavily so to certain areas. Some small chips and nibbles to the bases of the legs. Some rubbing to painted detail and surface dirt.
