A good pair of Japanese Meiji period hexagonal Satsuma vases, the shoulders decorated with three stylised birds above continuous main panels painted with figures, animals and immortals, both with painted gold seal marks to base and painted mon, height 19cm. Additional Information Minor rubbing to gilding throughout, heavier to the point of the shoulders and upper and lower rims, both also have some stained crazing towards the lower portions of each vase and slight imperfections to foot rim, one possibly very slightly ground.
