A large early/mid-20th century Japanese cylindrical vase profusely decorated in enamels with figural panels and stylised detail, raised on three feet, two marks to base, height 41cm, and four later examples (5). Additional Information The large cyclindrical vase there are numerous firing cracks throughout most notably to the base and numerous areas. Some of the apparent filler crazed throughout, fairly heavy rubbing to the enamel and gilt decoration in places. The vase did have twin handles which have both been broken off leaving unsightly blemishes.
