An Indonesian volcanic stone head of a Buddha, height 21.5cm. Provenance: From a private collection in the South West of England. Additional Information The back of the Buddha's head is very rough with signs of chip carving, a few small chips to the lower section around the base rim and some rubbing to raised parts. Two small chips to the back of the headdress and some rubbing to raised parts as you would expect.
