A late 19th century French brass cased repeating carriage clock, the enamel dial set with Roman numerals, with twin drum movement and alarm function, the back plate with French patent mark, in original leather bound carrying case with glazed panel and key, height excluding swing handle 12.4cm. Additional Information Runs when wound although no guarantee of working order. The dial with several hairline cracks, chips to the front rear and left side glass panels. General scratches, nicks and tarnish throughout. The travel case heavily worn with very heavy distress loss to the leather throughout, heavy fritting to the glass panel. Case interior very tired.
