GANTHONY OF LONDON; a mid-19th century cartel clock, the circular painted dial set with Roman numerals, signed and with associated brass hands, diameter 22cm, in gilt gesso case featuring mask and floral swags, case approx 82 x 50cm, with key and pendulum. Additional Information There are usual condition issues with the guesso, splits, chips, losses, surface losses, crazing, paint loss, flakiness, build up of dirt etc, the dial crazed and probably repainted, especially the numerals, some further scuffs, marks and surface loss to some sections of the edges of the dial, not tested, no guarantee of working order.
