A 19th century oak cased eight day longcase clock, the brass dial set with Arabic and Roman numerals and signed George Brownless (various spellings recorded) Junior of Staindrop, further signs through upper section 'Gulielmus Dickinson', with subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and applied spandrels, the case with foliage and shell carved detail throughout raised on ogee bracket feet, with two pendulums, approx 207 x 55cm. Additional Information Not tested, no guarantee of working order. General wear to case including some small chips, scratches, abrasions, knock etc including chip and loss to moulding of hood, dial with scratches and tarnish, spandrels and hands replaced as is usual.
