A Chinese table screen with precious stone inlay and dating from the 16th to the 17th century. The inlay depicts 12 figures in a courtly garden. Dimensions: screen- 13 1/2 inches tall X 16 inches wide; 34.3 cm tall X 40.6 cm wide. With stand- 19 3/4 inches tall X 21 inches wide; 50.2 cm tall X 53.3 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Overall good condition with 3 missing pieces. Provenance: From Mrs. Przecha in Southern California, by descent; acquired by Mrs. Przecha's step-father, a military doctor, while stationed in Tianjin during the 1920s.
