Harriet Gene Roudebush was known during the 1930s and 1940s for her etchings of the San Francisco Bay Area, which were sold in tourist shops and art galleries at Fishermen's Wharf. She and her husband moved to Pacific Grove (a well-known California artists' colony) in 1972.
