此件柄形器为透闪石玉料，整体呈褐色，打光透红光。器呈长条形，上端略宽，下端较窄。顶端以凤首装饰，圆眼勾喙，凤冠前端打一穿孔，身体似蹲坐，下端装饰卷云纹。器体中部装饰两个同向龙首，小圆眼，卷鼻，短角，口紧闭。柄尾作钩状，甚为少见。柄形器应是古时巫师法器或祭祀佩戴，有驱鬼辟邪、祈求神灵保佑的功能。此器造型古朴典雅，纹饰威严神秘，线条遒劲有力，具备原始宗教色彩，且器型独特，有较高的收藏和研究价值。具有西周晚期至春秋早期风格。
