A Chinese painting on paper by Luo Qing. The painting, which has five seals and a description, depicts a buffalo sleeping in a field of plum blossoms. The title is displayed on the backside of the scroll. It is mounted on backing with wooden dowels. Dimensions are: 28 in. tall X 13 1/2 in. wide, 71.1 cm tall X 34.3 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Foxing on the backing. Provenance: From a Ma***and collector and close friend of Chu Ge and Luo Qing.
