A Chinese ink painting on paper by Huang Junbi. The landscape painting, which has three seals and an inscription, depicts a scholar overlooking a river with a man in a boat. It is mounted on a silk backing with wooden dowels. Dimensions are: 22 in. tall X 11 1/4 in. wide, 55.9 cm tall X 28.6 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Some creasing. Provenance: From a Ma***and collector related to Liang Dingfen. The collector's great-grandfather was a close friend of Zhang Zhidong.
