JAMBHALA Bronze fire gilt Tibet , 13th to 14th century Dimensions: Height 7 cm by 5,5 cm Weight: 151,6 grams Jambhala seated casually on a lotus throne with double rim. He is holding the jewel-spewing mongoose Nehulay in his right hand on his knee while he is holding a citrus fruit in his other raised hand. His belly is round and his face looks a bit grim with mouth opened. He is wearing a tiara and jewellery highlighted with stone inlay. The bronze statue is hollow.
