青白玉质，温润细腻，取整料圆雕而作童子洗象。大象回首状，体态敦实，低首卷鼻，大耳下垂，背驮福山寿海纹方毯，身侧雕有二童子，笑靥如花。童子洗象题材在清代较为常见，整器玉质、抛光、雕琢完美的展现了乾隆工特点，应为当朝佳作。童子洗象情景生动欢快，予人祥和愉悦之感。此器寓意扫去旧习，万象更新，带有美好祝福意愿。由于明晚期以来佛教流行，禅宗主张破除一切名“相”的执着，简称“扫相”，于是借用“象”与“相”的谐音，洗象图明确表达了做着“破除我执”、心向佛法的平和心境。参阅：《中国美术全集-玉卷》卷9，1986年，Pl309“青玉雕双童洗象”，现藏故宫博物院。
