琉璃莲花碗，敞口，弧腹，腹渐收至圈足。外壁凸起数层莲花瓣。以莲花或莲瓣作为器物之纹饰及造型，随佛教之传入而盛行，取其出泥不染之习性，寓意廉洁。该器状似未盛开莲花，线条温柔婉约，高雅清丽。此琉璃莲瓣碗器型为清代仿古之形制，唐宋时期在佛教艺术影响下，多有莲瓣装饰之器型问世，此类器型最为著名之品当属陕西历史博物馆藏唐代鸳鸯莲瓣纹金碗，可资参阅。
