款识：鄂韡堂藏 敞口，束颈，溜肩鼓腹，颈部两侧出两蚰耳，圈足微撇。《宣德彝器谱》三卷谱赞此形制“款制大雅为诸炉之冠”，勘诸实物，令人信服。炉壁均匀，用材厚实，炉膛光滑，炉底刻“鄂韡堂藏”四字双行篆书款，字口清晰，结体端正。造型浑圆肥美而富于变化，扣之其音袅袅。上手颇有分量。鄂韡堂，据考为明代万历时期孙能正的书坊名号。明杨德周《鄞县刻书考》记载，孙能正，字立之，浙江省鄞县人。有万历年间孙能正鄂韡堂所刻《剡溪漫笔》六卷、《谥法纂》十卷、《益智编》等书流传于世。炉款“鄂韡”出自《诗经·小雅·常棣》：“常棣之华，鄂不韡韡。”因常棣花开每两三朵彼此相依，诗中以常棣之花比喻兄弟，例如钱时《山隐暮归呈诸兄弟二首（其二）》之“回首野棠思鄂韡，未妨时一到山家。”重1560g
