砚盖铭文：花枝出建章，凤管发昭阳。借问承恩者，双蛾几许长。五峰山人 伯仁。 此砚为长方端石砚，抹角倒棱，手感厚重圆润。砚堂光滑，受墨处宽平，斜通墨池，仅边沿饰二方连续回纹，砚背落膛，内雕天禄，与一方开光，上书大篆文字。原装大漆砚盒，推光漆面，虽历久却光可照人，磨损处可见漆灰，遵传统漆工艺做法。盒盖上嵌白玉牌子，与砚背做法相呼应，玉面镌铭文：“花枝出建章，凤管发昭阳。借问承恩者，双蛾几许长。五峰山人 ”，落“伯仁”章。（出自唐代皇甫冉《婕妤怨》）文伯仁，为明代画家，字德承，系籍长州（今江苏苏州），文征明侄子。善画山水、人物、师法赵孟俯及王蒙等。
