铭文：居则与结为邻，器惟用以观德。镜轩 干嘉时期好古、鉴古、证古及金石考据之风盛行，文人学士们以研究古文字、古器物为风尚，秦砖汉瓦在出土不久后即被收藏，并常常被改制成砖砚，以致古为今用，并被配制砚盒，加以题咏，聊以遣兴。砚台随形，形状为铜钱穿蕉叶，蕉叶寓意﹃业大﹄象征兴盛，铜钱即为﹃财﹄，此类形制极为少见。
