英石又名英德石，其姿态万千，具有﹃皱、瘦、漏、透﹄等特点，契合文人追求的审美意趣，历来被视为赏玩佳石，在宋代即已列入皇家贡品。拍品英石山子取天然奇石随形而成，造型纤巧，似岌岌险峰拔地而起，孑然挺立，顺势弯折下来，似弯腰的老人，任意角度观之皆自成景致，意境深远开合，在乎一念之间。底部嵌入旧配硬木座，当为清代文人案头陈设之铭心赏石。
