An Imperial Chinese doucai bowl with a 6-character Daoguang mark and of the period. The exterior of the bowl depicts 6 segments of flower and vine tracery. The interior depicts a flower roundel with an elaborate border. Dimensions: 2 1/2 inches tall X 6 inches wide; 6.4 cm tall X 15.2 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition. Provenance: From an estate in the Washington, DC area. The family lived in Shanghai, China during the 1930s and 1940s while working for the Standard Oil Company.
