A pair of Chinese trencher salts, Qianlong, circa 1780, of oval form with sunken centre decorated with blue flowers heightened with gilding, with gilt rims above a continuous blue leaf band heightened with gilding, the underside with applied label for 'S. Marchant & Son, London W.8',9.9cm & 10cm diameter Condition report: One salt with small rim chip. Rim gilding partially erased on both.
