Vintage 1960s Raymond Loewy for BarcaLounger Reclining Lounge Chair. Black leather with molded walnut veneer with winged arms. Cast iron base. Reclines easily. Raymond Loewy (French/American 1893-1986) was a highly creative and successfuldesigner, named "the father of industrial design", had designed nearly everything from razors to railroad terminals. He was responsible for notable symbols including the Lucky Strike cigarette packet, the Coca-Cola bottle as well ascreating logos for Shell and Exxon.
