An elaborate pair of gold earrings each comprising (from top to bottom): a circular hoop flanked on each side by two arches formed from baubles from which is suspended a ribbed sphere. The sphere is connected by a further ring of baubles connecting to a hemisphere from which hangs a final spherical bauble. These beautiful items probably belonged to a Roman noblewoman.
