Cast bronze zoomorphic amulet comprising an unidentified animal, shown in profile, with a circular suspension loop at the top, arching head and tail and four legs delineated by three rounded perforations. Animal amulets are common in Bronze Age cultures, as they might associate their owners with the positive natural qualities – strength and speed, for example – of wild beasts or the prestige of owning domesticated animals.
