A pair of gold hoop earrings each with a single elongated pendant comprising a spherical bauble attached to an elongated cord of woven gold wire which ends in in a second bauble; a rounded loop attaches this bauble to a smaller pendant made up of a bauble and a pearl. These beautiful pieces would probably have once adorned the ears of a Roman noblewoman. Excellent condition; wearable. Size: L:Set of 2; 83mm / W:22mm ; 5.5g; Provenance: Property of an established London gallery; acquired from a private estate collection formed before 2000.
