A beautiful restrung necklace with tubular and discoid beads as well as a beautiful faience Thoth amulet showing the god with the head of an babbon and wearing a short kilt. Pierced transversely for suspension. Thoth was the Egyptian god of knowledge and wisdom, creator of hieroglyphs and patron god of scribes. It was believed that Thoth recorded the verdict of the deceased’s fate during the ‘Weighing of the heart ceremony’. Good Condition. Wearable.
