此器为绿松石质，其形制系模仿商周时期的青铜提梁卣，采用整块绿松石料琢制，质地上乘，做工精巧。卣盖高沿，与器身的直颈作子母口相扣合，盖中央设摘钮。瓶口微敞，束颈，溜肩，卣腹下垂渐收，底作高撇足。颈肩正面阳雕兽面纹，线条精致细腻，腹部减地刻仿古变形兽纹，兽面圆睁双目，气势威严。颈两侧对称出螭龙耳，与提梁做活环。提梁方折，两端饰双龙首，口衔锁链。整器雕刻刀法娴熟，打磨极为细致，石光润泽。
