水洗以竹根立体圆雕而成，仿生而作，呈佛手状。以竹子本身的纹理巧雕成佛手表皮的粗糙纹理，棕点麻皮逼真，柄部有茎叶琢刻得惟妙惟肖。整器皮壳红润，包浆沉厚，刀法纵逸流畅，布局精确，从不同角度观赏皆有不同效果，极具古典之天然意趣，为清代竹雕文房精品。此品带日本旧木盒。香橼果，形状若手掌，粗而厚，有异香，可供入药，民间泛称「佛手果」，取其吉祥谐音「福寿」之寓意。
