Description

鲁荡平（1895-1975）字若衡（鲁涤平之弟）。教育家，湖南宁乡道林人。曾就读于湖南铁路学堂，北京法政大学。早年加入同盟会，后又加入革命中华党，曾任湖南益阳、湘乡等县县长，大革命后从事教育，在宁乡与周震鳞创办靳江中学，在北平创办民国大学，历任长沙民国日报社长、北平北辰报社长、湘军总部顾问兼军法官，驻粤湘军第三路司令，天津社会局局长兼市党部常委，天津《民国日报》社社长，中央日报社长兼总编辑、北平民国大学校长、河南省政府委员兼教育厅厅长。
