Bellarmine Ovoid Stoneware Jug, probably Frechen, with iron-oxide slip and salt glazed surface, neck with molded face of a bearded man, body impressed with five round coggled marks, tooled rim and ribbed handle, 15" high, 8 1/2" diam. Hairline crack from center base to 3" into body, 3" long hairline just below face, body firing indentation, base edge chips.
