A Chinese tea dust glazed garlic head vase with a pair of carved Chilong handles and dating from the 18th or 19th centuries. Dimensions are: 17 inches tall X 9 inches wide, 43.2 cm X 22.9 cm. All measurements are approximate. High resolution images can be found here Condition: There is significant cracking to the body and two areas of damage to the neck. Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
