A pair of Chinese famille rose porcelain statues of peacocks dating from the 19th century. Dimensions are: 18 inches tall X 5 1/2 inches wide, 45.7 cm X 14 cm. All measurements are approximate. High resolution images can be found here Condition: There are glaze skips by the foot of the peacock on one statue. Both statues are in good condition. Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
