An Imperial Chinese red glazed vase with a 6-character Yongzheng mark and of the period. All measurements are approximate. High resolution images can be found here Condition: It is in overall good condition with no visible cracks, chips, or repairs. There are a few very minor scratches, one miniscule glaze pop on the rim, and minor glaze defects around the base. Provenance: From the collection of Cao Maoji, who was a writer and poet in Hong Kong in the mid-20th century. This lot is the matching pair for Lot 158 sold in our Mar 21, 2020 auction. Reference: A red-glazed pear-shaped vase with a six-character Yongzheng mark was sold at Christie's Hong Kong on June 1, 2016 as lot 3214. The National Palace Museum in Taipei has a similar red-glazed vase with a 6-character Yongzheng mark in their collection under the collection number 004629-N000000000.
