A large silver filigree cased Esther scroll, megillah, unmarked, probably Poland or Ukraine, late 19th century, the cylindrical body decorated with filigree flowerheads and foliage to crown finial capped by a bird in nest, the scroll guard applied with filigree foliage flanking a central flowerhead and bearing a Hebrew inscription (possibly presentation engraving), the parchment with 21 lines to a column, depth 9.9cm, case length 27.5cm, in fitted box.
