A rare late Victorian English silver filigree cased HaMelech Esther scroll, megillah, the case by Joseph Gloster, Birmingham, 1899, in the Russo-Polish style with crown finial, the front applied with a vacant lozenge cartouche, the handle with a now indistinct inscription, the parchment with 14 lines to a column, depth 5.5cm, case length (inc. handle) 19.9cm.
