A silver cased Esther scroll, megillah, the case signed Bezalel, Jerusalem, c.1920, the scroll with Hebrew script written in black ink on parchment, 22 lines per column, the cylindrical case decorated with a star-studded arch supported by two pillars framing a seated King Ahasuerus in discussion with a supplicant Esther, the top of the case engraved with Hebrew inscription stating that the scroll was given to Joseph Friedburg on the occasion of his Bar Mitzvah, scroll depth 9.8cm, total length approx. 16cm, gross weight 198.3g.
